John DeGaetano is a certified business advisor and former bank executive with a strong background in management and leadership. As a result he built extensive experience in administration, marketing, sales planning, training, operations, management and financial analysis.

Results Oriented – As an advisor, John is results oriented. He earned the national designation Northern California’s State Star from the SBA (Small Business Administration) and its partners for outstanding performance assisting small businesses. The award recognized John for creating economic impact for businesses and start ups, increased sales, jobs created, funding, etc. He is available for consulting and works with clients on a performance-based or term contract basis. John DeGaetano Productions Consulting

John has worked for more than 30 years in theater, film, television and is a Broadwayworld award nominee. Some of John’s directorial credits include; regional West Coast productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Also listed are two productions of the musical Cats, a very silly version of Pirates of Penzance. Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables, a limited run of Chicago the musical, AR Gurney’s Love Letters, a gripping, intimate production of Cabaret. The world premiere of The Angel of Chatham Square, several variety shows, and most recently West Side Story and an alternate reality of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado.

The Acclaimed Production of EVITA

In 2013 he directed the acclaimed production of Evita the musical with over 100 cast-members and crew involved. In addition, John directed a short Sherlock Holmes Play Series at London’s West End Leicester Square Theatre and Kings Head Theatre. He also worked a version of the same show at New York City’s 45th St. Theater. John is an advisor, author, active board member for a resident production company. He is a supporter of several non-profit organizations, and mentor for performing arts programs in Northern California.

In addition, John has done extensive work with Public Television, Radio and Theater. He is a former member of the San Francisco Speaking Club, has participated on several boards and chamber groups. He has conducted financial seminars and countless public and charitable events. Previously a community outreach leader on the Business Volunteer Council, he also participated in a Teaching Aboard program that benefited educational skills in a poverty-torn third world country.
